Great alarm for peace of mind when away from home. These are excellent smoke and CO2 detectors. I've installed several, on in my own home and rental properties with gas appliances and furnaces. Tested, reliable, and functional. From programming it for alerting the tenant or myself, (even when far from home) to seeing it in action when there was smoke in the house, it is an excellent addition to fire safety in your home or business. These are not a substitute for UL listed photoelectric smoke alarms which should be installed in addition to this device and according to local codes.There is no cost for the app but remote monitoring with your phone requires this device to access your home or business WIFI.We have a wood stove and always worried about leaving home with a fire smoldering especially because we have pets. This gives us a little peace of mind as it would alert us via our phone and hopefully we could have a neighbor check on the house.This alarm does get activated when excessive steam is present so be aware of where you install it. Also, removing the alarm from the cradle will turn it off so consider that when installing where someone may remove it and unknowingly disable it.

The peace of mind is priceless!. This smart detector is exactly what I was looking for. The setup was incredibly simple, and connecting it to my phone via the app took just a couple of minutes. The best part is getting alerts on my phone if something is detected, whether I'm home or not. Knowing I'll be notified immediately about a fire or CO leak gives my family and me incredible peace of mind. It's a fantastic upgrade from our old, non-smart detectors.

Great alarm. Purchased this for my camper van. Love that there’s an app so I can get alerts even when I’m not close by. The batteries that it came with drained within a year, but I think that’s because my van gets taken into extreme hot or cold areas which can drain the battery faster. The instructions to download the app and set up were clear and simple. The alert/sound works really well (sometimes it’s too sensitive when I’m cooking in the van, even with a fan on, so campers beware). Otherwise, it’s a safe and reliable alarm. Really appreciate that it can detect both smoke and carbon monoxide and has given me alerts on both (works well). The display is easy to read and there’s even a backlight.
