Softer than cotton towels. I'm really impressed with these towels - they're made from plant fibre, so they are biodegradable and eco-friendly. Each one is a generous size at 10x12 inches, so large that I've been cutting them in half as one is plenty to use when washing your face. They are textured on one side and smooth on the other, so you can use whichever suits you best. These feel really soft on your skin, more so than a regular cotton towel or flannel would, and while very soft, these are also really tough - you'd have a hard time ripping one in half.The description says these can be reused 2-3 times, and that claim stands up - you can easily rinse these out and hang them up to dry, and they are strong enough to look just the same as new once dried out. So while there's 50 in the pack, if you cut these in half, and then reuse a few times, these will easily last as facecloths for the best part of a year. Perfect for use as travel towels or to clean up spills etc too, these are really versatile. I use them with a cleansing oil, and they feel much gentler on my face than my usual routine of using a flannel. Current price is £12.99 for 50, but if you spread the use out as you can do, that's a very reasonable price.
